Join Our Team as an Invigilator
 We are looking for mature, trustworthy, and reliable individuals to join our team as Invigilators for upcoming exam periods across our Bedford, Kettering, and St Albans locations. The role will involve supervising students during their exams to ensure a fair and secure testing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in an educational setting while helping students excel in their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students during exams, ensuring the proper conduct is followed
Set up exam rooms, ensuring that all exam materials are ready
Assist with distributing and collecting exam papers
Ensure students are following exam regulations and report any issues
Remain calm and professional during the examination period

What We’re Looking For:


Trustworthy and mature individuals with a strong sense of responsibility

No previous experience or qualifications required

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Good communication and organisational skills

Must be available during exam periods from April to June

Academic Tutor

Are you passionate about education and creating a meaningful environment where children are supported in achieving their academic goals?

We are looking for experienced tutors to join our team, teaching English, Maths and/or Science to small groups of students or on a one-on-one basis at one of our centres or at local primary and/or secondary schools as part of the NTP (National Tutoring Programme).

We would love to hear from individuals with an undergraduate degree or higher and have experience working as a tutor or teacher. We are looking for bright, engaging, and proactive tutors who can make learning fun for our students and help them reach their academic goals. 

A strong understanding and commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people are essential. Previous safeguarding training is preferred although full training will be given to successful applicants.

We work with students aged 5-18 and offer one-to-one or small-group tuition. We have several teaching slots available depending on the candidate’s background and field of teaching.

 

As an Academic Tutor, your Responsibilities and Duties include (but are not limited to):

✓ Delivering tutoring sessions within our centres and/or local schools

✓ Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to meet your student’s academic goals and needs 

✓ Clarifying and teaching subject and topic content 

✓ Tracking, assessing and reporting on student’s progress regularly

✓ Mentoring students 

✓ Safeguarding students you work with

Experience:

✓ Teaching: 1-year (Preferred)

✓ Tutoring: 1-year (Preferred)

Qualifications:

✓ Undergraduate Degree or Higher including QTS or Teacher Training degree 

Work Remotely: No

Salary: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
